Starting Jan. 1, private biotechnology companies can apply for public funds through the state’s Life Sciences initiative. “If you are a company with a great idea who finds that the current funding environment is failing you, these grants might be a good fit for you,” said Massachusetts Life Sciences Center President Susan Windham-Bannister.
